However, to make this dream a reality, you will first need to meet the minimum standards for education and training and obtain your real estate salesperson license to work with clients.

As per the California law, it is mandatory for all aspiring and active real estate professionals such as salespersons, brokers and realtors to obtain and maintain a state approved license.

If you are curious to learn more about how to get your CA real estate license, worry not as you simply need to complete pre licensing education and pass the licensing exam.

You can complete 135 hours of course credits from a state approved real estate school or online pre licensing course provider.

Once you complete the education, you can take the CA salesperson licensing exam in person and score at least 75 percent or above to pass it.

Lastly, you must complete a mandatory background verification check by submitting an electronic copy of your fingerprint scan to the California DRE (Department of Real Estate) for review and approval.
